Multiple Identities – Telling Life Stories Through Objects
We are pleased to announce our involvement in the upcoming study day, “Multiple Identities: Telling Life Stories Through Objects,” organized in collaboration with the Centre for Fashion Curation at the London College of Fashion and the Oxford Centre for Life-Writing. This event is scheduled for Tuesday, 29 April 2025, from 11:00 to 17:00 at The Buttery, Wolfson College, Oxford.
This interdisciplinary study day will delve into the convergence of material culture and life writing, exploring how objects can narrate personal histories and identities. The programme features distinguished speakers, including Dr. Kate Kennedy, Eleri Lynn, Dr. Emily Cockayne, Dr. Sophie Oliver, Dr. Alice Little, Professor Judith Clark, Dr. Christine Checinska, Dr. Georgia Haseldine, and Professor Claire Wilcox.
Attendance is free, but registration is required.
We look forward to engaging with you in this exploration of how objects can tell compelling life stories.
