Charles DICKENS (1812-1870) – Part II

June 2020

(b.Portsmouth, 7 February 1812; d.Gad’s Hill Place, Kent, 9 June 1870)

In February 2012 we celebrated Dickens’s bicentenary with a display of title-pages and other material from the Museum’s collections introduced by Professor Leonée Ormond (see Exhibition of the Month, February 2012).  This month we celebrate  the 150th anniversary of the writer’s death with a few further, recently-acquired, items.
