Last year in May and July, we displayed two series of Wills’s ‘Musical Celebrities’ cigarette cards.  Here we now show a series of 25 cigarette cards, published by Lambert & Butler in 1929, featuring ‘Dance Band Leaders’.  As with the Wills’s cards, the back of each showed a brief summary of the life of the subject.

Like Wills, Lambert & Butler were another company which became part of the Imperial Tobacco Company at the beginning of the last century.
