Apparently published simultaneously with Girardon : Les beautés de l’Opéra, ou Chefs d’Oeuvres lyriques illustrés par les premiers artistes de Paris et de Londres (Paris,1845), with which it shares identical plates and illustrations and similar descriptive texts of four ballets and five operas popular in both capitals during the 1840s.
