An example of the extensive educational output of this successful teacher, editor, lecturer and composer. Born in Vienna but resident in London from 1851, Pauer taught successively at the Royal Academy of Music, the National Training School for Music and (as Principal Piano Professor, 1883-1896) the Royal College of Music.
